Libya – Teamwork?

Humble Pie – for the sake of sanity

When Libya cried out for international help against Gaddafi’s atrocities ongoing, the USA, in historic manner, answered the call.  This was a clear-cut involvement as the mission was to stop human suffering.  Add to that, the Freedom Fighters’ underlying desire to become a democratic nation.  Then Obama decided ‘midstream’ to try some namby-pamby game-playing, by telling an unready NATO:  It’s your turn to do something. He couldn’t have sent out a worse message to the entire world – that the USA has become undecided and unreliable.  This has to end.  We need to re-take command of the situation and terminate Gaddafi’s rule.

This will, at least, bring immediate peace to Libya, and give the people and their representative NTC a chance to work on their future.  It is the best and only way for the USA  to get out of Libya.  To do otherwise will only cost more in money and lives as uncertainty drags on.  The worst case is that Gaddafi regains control and resumes a certain path of revenge, torture, rape, and murder with a new vigour.

Obama needs to eat humble pie and approach Congress with a clear-cut plan, and present himself as a team player – if only once.  Then, odds are, Congress will view that as the ‘best’ plan and agree.  And then we can remove ourselves from at least one problem.

What the hell is House Majority Leader John Boehner thinking?

We are in the midst of a war to save the USA from destruction in the hands of the “Constitution-violating”  Obama Administration.  Why on Earth would House Majority Leader John Boehner and Ohio Governor John Kasich decide to go “business golfing” on June 18th with this obnoxious President and his “familiar” Joe Biden?

Millions of Americans are out of work, out of home, and struggling to pay basic daily bills – no less pay greens fees.  It is totally inappropriate, given this landscape, for them to be out sharing fun times with the opposition.  The “links” is no place to conduct the business of the USA  – in the best of times – no less now,  This is an insult to me, and I presume, to the overwhelming majority on the Right.  This outing, “….to smooth over some of their differences as they seek a compromise over raising the national debt limit and cutting spending”, is just a BAD move on Boehner’s part.  How dare he!

As for Kasich, granted, should the expected negative feedback arise, the Ohio Governor will have to answer first to his state constituents.  But, as a former House Representative, he is considered to still be a “DC Insider” with some clout remaining.  Yet what is he doing conducting and shaping the future of America by conducting business that is not HIS business?

This whole affair sours the stomach.  It calls to mind the arrogance of the Roman Senate, or olden France’s “let them eat cake” attitude. This is just one more proof of the fact that firstly, Government is a private “club” – regardless of political affiliation.  And secondly – no one in that club has any true concern for the people who hire them.

I suggest we all STRONGLY advise @boehner to not conspire with our proven enemy on the field of fun.

The Coming Fight For American Freedom

We are the future of America….

You may realize that we are entering into a political fight like none other in our lifetime.  You are likely concerned about what the future holds for America.  Like you, I am worried where the USA is headed.  Consider me just a common citizen who is very, very frightened over what I see going on around me.  So frightened, that I feel a need “write out” about what scares me.  I would claim insight and knowledge in doing so, but more likely, this sharing effort is based solely on instinct.

Have you seen the signs that this political fight will more akin to war, rather than simply a normal election cycle?  Do you realize that your well being, livelihood or very life may be at stake?  Are you prepared to see our country fall the way of 1934 Germany?  Realize, that the current Administration is already attacking our USA on a hundred different fronts simultaneously.  “They” have brazenly told us that we will be “dictated to”.  For instance, Obama’s friend – Zillionaire George Soros has been quoted as saying that he is devoting his life to the “destruction of America”.  Obama’s longtime Pasteur, the Rev Wright has preached: “God Damn America”.  Obama is a known “social organizer”.  Obama’s recent insulting speech at the border shows that he ridicules the very Constitution he swore to uphold.  Obama’s appointing of a “Czar Army” is in violation of the Constitution, yet he dismisses any protest as not being worth his time.  And on, and on.  I am sure you can think of many more examples of his “small irregularities” that do not “directly affect me” types of things.  Oh, but they do.

Once there was a people who believed that all “this will pass”, “they will tire of it”, and “all will return to normal”.  What followed were the forced-labor camps and genocide in Europe, as history attests.  Europe, – in fact – the world, did not believe that a madman of small stature would boldly attempt to take over (against all odds) his country, and drive it into tyranny. Yet, because of his boundless ambition, as well as the lackadaisical attitudes of those watching, he did /just/ that, and he went on to threaten half of the world.   As I see it, and from what I’ve seen, we will not be heard by this Administration, no matter how just our cause, or how strong we protest.  “They” have already taken off the hockey gloves and told us it is “game on”.  Be very concerned – no – be afraid.

But what can we do?  The answer is clear.  We do just as our strong predecessors did at the creation of America – we unite.  No, not necessarily by political party, but as a group of law abiding, God-fearing Americans.  We, who believe what the Declaration of Independence stood for.  We, who want our inspired Constitution followed.  Remember that we first – are individuals.  We must not put our fates into the hands of politicians.  Although many of them mean well, lack of positive results is the usual outcome.  Some use the excuse that “their hands are tied”.  Some are simply incompetent, or worse, they are “wind sniffers” who blend in with their peers.  I consider them cowards and, yes, traitors.  On a daily basis, they do not uphold the oath-of-office they swore to uphold.  And the worst among these, care only for their own profit and fame – at our cost.  Remember, if a politician is doing nothing to help you – then he/she is against you.  It is /that/ simple.

What then,  must we do in order to stem our march over a cliff?  DO NOT IDLE.  Without wasting another second, we should to begin to take action.  We need to take our collective “individualism” and unite with other dedicated American citizens to form a larger and larger body with like values and purpose.  We must demand to have America returned to us.  We need to “read the riot act” to those representing us.  Make them know that we are their employer, and they are not being supported out of kindness.  Tell them that we have rights, and they, along with us, have a duty to preserve those rights.  Regardless, do not rely on a favorable 2012 election result  to solve our problems.  It will take a lot of continued effort to put America back on the tracks.

So, become a group – and prepare to battle back – “measure for measure”, whatever it takes.  Where, when, or how we will come together, is not clear at the moment.   But as surely as green grass grows – with one strong blade next to another, and another – we must become a true “Grass Roots” force, ready to take action.  We should follow our favored ‘social outlets’ and blogs.  Obviously, do not trust the news media for more than weather reports.  They will either be in lockstep with “His Administration”, or they will be afraid to “ruffle feathers”.  We need to become creative in how we correspond, and how we source our news.  Have faith, and realize that none of us is alone in this.  This is our country.  We have a right to live here with dignity, and with liberty.  We are a good and patriotic people who love the United States of America,  and we shall prevail.

This writing is intended as a part of that mentioned ‘social outlet’ – Please refer others.

What Really Happened – Before the Seals Arrived

Inside the Bin Laden Compound  – Why Not?….

Given the strangeness of the Obama Administration, don’t count out anything. Given too, all the strangeness surrounding the killing of Osama Bin Laden, it is difficult not to dream up and consider alternative situations of how he came to suddenly die in Pakistan.

One alternative (and this is purely a fictional surmising) is that the compound was  constructed by US with full knowledge of Pakistani Government.  The purpose of this compound was to house Osama  in the event of his capture. The thought is it would be a secluded spot, and would be needed to collect terrorist intelligence via interrogation. If a capture did not materialize, well, Pakistan would have a few more buildings nearby to its existing military academy.

There was another, just as important, reason for the compound.  In no way would bringing Osama to the US be a good thing for the Obama administration.  There would be no end to distraction or criticisms for this or that.

So, consider that this /did/ happen:  Osama was indeed captured, at a place  yet unknown, via some intelligence, or perhaps a reward seeker.  He was then secreted to the prepared compound along with family and whomever, in tow. There was no way they could be allowed to be left behind, since the mission was to interrogate Osama “quietly”.

The ready compound was built and maintained in the lowest possible profile.  It was as low-key as twelve-foot walls, topped with barbed wire, could be considered low-key.  But, that was just something that had to be dealt with best as possible.  Consider too, the lack of utilities or mail box, or garbage collection.  Perhaps that was a CIA blunder to not have the compound “residents” appear to be living as normal (though eccentric) a life as could be constructed.  If Osama were the actual holder of the compound, he may, most certainly, have opted for at least electric service.  Perhaps, in its tending to the tightness of security, the CIA did not allow, that outward appearances would themselves be an attention-getter.  And, Bin Laden  may not have been that detail-conscious overall, but would most likely have relied on his simply staying out of sight, deep inside the walls – yes, with electric, a place for mail,  and sanitized garbage to be put out for pick up.

At some point, sufficient terrorist information was gotten , and disposing of Bin Laden became the issue.  Some foot-dragging took place over how and what to do with Osama, and time ticked. (Now it gets nefarious)  Consciously or unconsciously, the Obama admin started looking at this “outstanding issue” as an opportunity.  In this scenario, the current state of  the President’s elected term made for the perfect time.  Now, what to do.  It might be assumed that bringing Osama to the US would not be a good thing for many reasons.  A trial could open a ‘can of worms’.  Or perhaps more likely, there was a chance the whole scheme  of hiding Osama would come into question once Osama came under the protection, and advice of,  legal representation.

The easiest way then,  was to “whack” him. Obviously, the  circle argued the points of this.  There were differing reports of some disagreement   A sense of this confusion was “leaked” from the “war room” even as the “nod” to the Seal mission was eventually given.  Now, again, the military was/is clean in this.  This is all theory, and continuing:  The CIA would be the ones who brought Osama to the compound.  They kept him there and interrogated him for quite a while. Then, just, and I mean, just before the Seal team arrived, the CIA exited with Osama (et all) left in a daze.  Before they could make sense of anything, they suddenly faced the “surprise” of the Seal incursion.  Certainly, the CIA would have no qualms about doing what was needed to do what was needed.  The military, rightfully, keeps clean throughout, since they dutifully performed their mission as ordered – honestly unaware of what had just transpired.

Another point. Was the time spent training to breach the “Bin Laden compound” a measure of how long Osama was at the compound?  Of course, plus probably a few months.  In effect, Osama was grabbed  by the CIA, some time passed.  It was also decided to have the Seals train for an assault of the compound in order that there be a contingency plan in place.  At that point in time, it may not have yet been decided what the outcome for Osama would be, but they may have thought it important that the Seals know the ‘lay of the land’.  This was accomplished by satellite surveillance.  The CIA would have carefully controlled human traffic inside the compound, feeding the “birds” above what they wanted. Nothing unusual showed that would raise questions to authenticity of the target compound. This kept the number of those involved in the plan to a minimum.

The outcome of the compound witnesses is largely unknown, but it probably wasn’t  pleasant outcome.  As for the courier that was mentioned in the official version?  He was not followed around, nor did he lead the CIA to the compound.  After all, they had it built.  The courier may not have even existed, or at least not in the time frame, as it was explained. “He” just conveniently tied up a loose link to the compound.

And Pakistan?  All of this supposed indignation and outrage was just for show,  and for the edification of the Pakistanis. The government was well paid  for that show too. Most surely, there will be no retraction demands of foreign aid to them. In fact, shortly there may more aid forthcoming.  As far as tension with Pakistan?  Our relationship is probably more solid now, than ever.

A last point to make. Just as with the code-breakings of WWII, it could never be let known that Osama was interred for questioning.  His disappearance from where he was hiding may have been made to look like he was killed on the spot, and the body taken away.  There may well have been some bodies left at that scene, to be later discovered by accomplices – with no want or way to report an apparent death scene of their comrade. along with the removal of Osama’s corpse.

Obama, Winnie, and Kenya – Busted!

“Getting at the “Roots” of the Issue

Considering all the current references to President Obama’s roots in, and ties to Kenya, an interesting bit of history seems to have slipped under the rug of time.  Yet, some may recall an act by Obama that was rather inexplicable, odd, and largely overlooked during the blur surrounding his historic election victory.

Before taking residence in the White House, President-elect Obama sent a bronze bust of Sir Winston Churchill back to Britain (via British Embassy/Ambassador Sir Nigel Sheinwald). The likeness had occupied a cherished spot in President Bush’s Oval Office.  Intended as a symbol of transatlantic solidarity, the bust was a loaner from former British prime minister Tony Blair after the September 11 attacks.

The Churchill bust, was removed  before Obama’s inauguration, as part of the usual redecorating that any new homeowner might do.  Although the bust was technically “on loan” it might have been better described as what it was: “on permanent lease”, and a gesture of good will.  So, why (although he did not seem to care for it), did Obama have it “returned” to the Brits instead of simply moving it out of the Oval Office?  Perhaps it was a simple error in judgment, or a show of poor social grace, at worst.

But a puzzle remains, if one considers how “tacky” it would be if say, an unloved birthday gift was returned to the giver.    How would that be explained to “Aunt Alice” that you are returning the painting she gave you?  There seems  no reasonable answer.  Certainly, another spot could have been found for ‘ol Winnie, perhaps even a museum could have provided  lasting curator-ship.  Even a dusty closet would have been far better than returning it, and in effect saying “Screw you and your gift!”  Insensitive – to say the least.

But, as it turns out, this “diplomatic ejection” seems to have been an obvious, and inexcusable “snub” purposely directed at our best ally.  Bad manners and insulting behavior aside, there could have been an underlying, and more troubling reason for the return of the Churchill bust.  Maybe it was a kind of “hatred” that was the reason Obama wouldn’t want Churchill watching over his shoulder.

As history has it, it was Winston Churchill who, in 1952, ordered a crackdown on the Mau Mau rebellion against British colonial rule in Kenya – Obama’s ancestral homeland.  Obama’s grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, labeled a subversive during the uprising, spent months in detention.  These events would give the only logical reason (in his mind) for Obama returning the bust to England.

One might presume that the President of the United States would rise above any urge to react childishly over alleged incidents that may have occurred in Kenya, many years ago.  Regardless, Obama’s insult, cast at our strong ally Great Britain, was inexcusable. I can only hope that the Brits do not judge all of us by the actions of just one person – even if he IS the President of the United States.
